You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:

  • Your creative offering is indeed yours
  • Your writing is kept to 150 words or less

A Rhodian Horse

The bloody audacity
The cheek, the effrontery
I suppose he said it for comedic effect
Hurt people’s feelings but what the heck
Stir the house into greater hilarity
Modern comedians, can’t raise a laugh
Without risking a slap
I’d slap him. I’d kick him.
I’d poked him out his eyes
And tear off his disguise
Nowt but a boy with a little temerity
