Here’s how it works:
Every Wednesday I post a photo (this week it’s that one above.)
You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:
- An answering photo
- A cartoon
- A joke
- A caption
- An anecdote
- A short story (flash fiction)
- A poem
- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it
If you include Crimson’s Creative Challenge as a heading, WP Search will find it (theory)
by ‘Searching’ in the WP Reader (fingers crossed)
Here’s wishing you inspirational explosions. And FUN
Evolution on the metal-rich planet of Ochrostock had been cruel, producing birds (for lack of a better term) with rocket propulsion systems. They were deadly in the air, but often couldn’t pull up fast enough in a dive. An entire genus of cat-like creatures subsisted on the remains of the crashed “birds.”

Haha! Not quite so adept as those true winged creatures…

Excellent. I should be warned by now not to drink water just before reading one of your comments. But it’s ok, I’ve learned to turn away from the laptop before I splutter

I loved your take on it. I do try to give a variety of photos. I’ve a liking for transitional places (gates, bridges, paths into woods) but I do need to ring the changes

I think the photos that are unususal push our creative skills. I’m impressed with the ones you use. Thank you for hosting the challenge.
