Is that mistletoe growing in the wild?!!

Yes. I don’t see it in many places, but there is one area where it seems to be everywhere growing on every kind of tree.

I don’t think I have ever seen wild mistletoe, very nice, thanks for the look!

I do have some close ups in my archives. Closer to Christmas I’ll probably put some on Twitter

There is an area which I walk most often where mistletoe is quite prolific and on every species of tree. I even found it growing on a hedgerow hawthorn, quite close to the ground

I have never seen mistletoe in the wild, either. I wouldn’t even recognize it if I did! You blow me away with your knowledge.

You would recognise it. Except it tends to grow high in tree tops so you might not be able to see it too well, especially in summer, lost amongst the tree’s leaves

Truth be told, I barely recognize it at Christmas when it’s hanging from a doorway!

I grew up with it. It was sold on the market at Christmas and often in the local shops too. The real stuff, not the plastic copies

Lucky you! I will be on the lookout for the real stuff 😉
