🔽 While we’re looking at trees… I’d have put money on this being a birch. And I’d have lost. It’s not native but an imported ornamental Cherry Tree. Well, I’d have never guessed that

I truly enjoyed this! The crimson leaves caught my attention, as they look interesting. Cute damselflies, and a lovely butterfly. You’re right, old life decays as new life appears. I’ll come up with something tomorrow. ☺️
