Some the flowers seen on our walk of 27th March 2023. Colour at last!
Willow flowers… though we call them catkins
One of the currants (don’t know which one, but possibly white. It’s ubiquitous in damp woodlands)
Along the waterways, marsh marigolds and celandines
Another currant species, but this is a garden escapee
That’s it for now, folks. Hope you enjoyed. Next week I get to show you some amazingly colourful fungi!

Nothing screams spring quite like these tiny fragile blooms. Lovely, Miss Crisp!

Thank you, Dale. Loving such sunny days. Alas, April hasn’t had many of those

It’s been a real mish-mash here, too! Getting a sunburn one day and needing a rather thick coat the next.

18 F or 18 C?

Always C. If it were F that would be below freezing!!

But we haven’t had anything approaching 18C. Wow, that’s summer. We’re barely scraping past the 10C mark
