Heatwave and health issues, I’ve not been able to get out for a walk. But here’s one I did earlier. So set the alarm for an hour before sunrise, and let’s go…
The town sleeps beneath a slight mist…
With the lights on the bridge and the mist…all very Dickensian
Looking towards Breydon Bridge, and the water beyond…
An amber glow heralds the sun… though she won’t show herself for a while yet
Where the rivers meet…
All very pale and misty, Breydon Water, the confluence of three river, an “inland” estuary…
The Moon’s still up!
A look back to the bridge…the sun’s about to show!
Zoomed in time and space to show this shot…the sun rising over Breydon Bridge (it doesn’t happen for 7 minutes yet)
Meanwhile, between the water and the mist, all would be quiet but for the waders piping in the day! Evocative sounds, not captured with a photo but that line of black dots on the water’s edge, they’re birds
I could spend my days taking photos of Breydon when it’s like this…so serene
Looking back… breathe deep. Enjoy
Looking West, it might look like the world ends there. But no, my walk for that day has only just begun
Hope you enjoyed this leisurely peaceful walk, relaxing, soul-enriching. I’m saving the rest of the photos for next week, for I doubt I’ll be able to get out for a while yet. And I have something totally different for your Tuesday Treat!
Until then…keep it fun, keep it safe, keep it cool
The sunrise pics are amazing.

oh those first two are very “Dickensian” indeed. 😉 Don’t you just love the moon in daytime. Hope you’re feeling better my friend. 🙂

My blood pressure rocketed, the stress of the excess heat. With reluctance I’m now taking meds. But heat has always floored me, nails me to the ground & I’m not meant to go out in it. But until recently I’ve ignored that and ventured out anyway

Oh my I have heat issues myself. My blood pressure tends to drop rather too rapidly.

My body treats heat as a stress and releases stress hormones, then my blood pressure soars while the body pulls the plug and I faint

Thank you, Frank. And very immodest of me, but I do agree. And I was happy to take the opportunity to show it

I think today had broken the heat. Let’s hope it stays at a more normal level now. As to health, you know nothing holds me down for long…just heat!

I am not a big fan of heat waves, either.

It flattens me, nails me to the ground, I cannot move, literally, really, immobilised

I am so sorry. I don’t enjoy it but at least I can function, somewhat.

The heat is slowly dissipating. It came back yesterday just to annoy me.
