A gathering of photos from our walk on 23rd January 2026. Enjoy…
πΌ The most unexpected sight of the day. A family of otters sporting in the Yare as we cross the bridge. Didn’t expect that in an industrial area. Shows how clean our rivers are π½ Ivy reaches out with her tendrils. Invasive in gardens, but happy to see her greenery here
πΌ Ivy berries provide a safe haven for an overwintering ladybird π½ A lone beech leaf looking like a copper sculpture
π½ No, it’s not the same egret. It’s another
I do not apologise for including 3 photos of the wild clematis, Old Man’s Beard aka Travellers’ Joy πΌπ½β¬
Spring flowers, so good to see them: πΌ Hellebore and π½ Snowdrops
And for the fungi fans, these provide welcome winter colour πΌπ½β¬
Alas, that’s all for now folks.
Now to see if I can find something entirely different for next week

Such different Januaries we have! Lovely share, Crispina.

Happy to share. And now we have February. To me, February is He’ll Month, no matter the trees are budding and flowers pushing through. I never feel ‘right’ in February. I want to hibernate.ok, rant over. I’m walking the camera tomorrow. Let’s see what we find!

Typos only happen when I’m using the phone!
And yes, Hell. Never ending Hell

I know! When I typed in Hell with my phone, it tried to change it to He’ll π
