This is a matter wrapped with delicacy
That’s why I approach it with a certain hesitancy
In the park are men with dogs and plastic bags
Yet if asked to attend their own toddlers
They have to be nagged
39 words written for Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt: Delicacy
[Sorry, guys!]

Yup! Very right

Yet again my reply lands in the wrong place. So I’ve copied and pasted it to where it should have been. This only happens when I use my phone. Apologies.
Inspired by the several male dogwalkers I saw this morning, all scooping up the business with nary a halt

Lol! At least they are doing that much.

And we’ll say nothing of the random disposals of those bags. So many I see hung upon the bushes or simply dropped along the way

Very uncool to say the least

Yes. I hate to see it. Though also I hate to see the messes left for children to chase across

Both are wrong.

So right! They seem to consider it babysitting!

In a way I can understand why the reluctance, especially in this age of unfounded accusations, best not to venture there etc

Ha! I have never had a problem clearing up after a dog (either end), but a human? No chance!!

I’m fine with humans, but not with cats

🙂 I confess I did surprise myself when Hubby was so ill and we were on the boat. I went out and bought two buckets, disinfectants, kitchen roll and rubber gloves to tend to him. I felt it was my fault as he had simply come to the hospital to collect me after a bone density scan but had to wait in the waiting room. We then discovered the hospital was rife with the Novo virus. He picked it up, but I guess my radiotherapy cancer treatments warded the virus off as I was fine.

Not easy is it. And what makes it worse when it’s an adult is you know that person is so very embarrassed, I hope you’ve both come through it now

We’ve been there for each other. I’m glad I didn’t have to have chemo, but Hubby was there through my radiotherapy for my first strike and my mastectomy after the second. We both hate being ‘indisposed’ as they say.

You are both so lucky that you had someone to help when you needed it most 💖

Thank you, Dale. It’s very much trimmed from the first words I wrote!

Although they sometimes have to be nagged to take care of their dogs 🙂

This is true. And I can imagine it applies most with the dog is a weeny sweet little thing (yea, I know, stereotyping there)
