Coincidence
Or as Jung might have said
Synchronicity
Because right at this moment—
not at this actual moment
because at this very moment I’m typing but before, and after that—I’m reading—
and that’s what I meant by synchronicity, or coincidence, if you prefer—
A brilliant book
Evolution:
The Invention Of Creativity:
A New Unifying Vision
By David Obon
Which is quite an interesting—
read brain twisting—
Theory
Which replaces random mutation
With intentional innovation
As the material for natural selection

Brilliantly done response, but I’ll pass on the mutilation no matter how innovative it might be.

Not mutilation. Mutation. I had to check back over the text to make sure it wasn’t my typo. I’m assuming it is a typo? The standard theory of evolution says that dna/genes continually mutate during their reproduction process and natural selection keeps the ones that work, and that’s how organisms, big and small, change. And it’s all just a happenchance. This new theory posits a ‘sought innovation’, from which survival selects the most appropriate.
