You, The Accused

Duncan Sumerlade
You appear before this court, this parade
Accused of defection, desertion, betrayal, of pursuing your own crusade
Of having disobeyed
In leaving this stockade
Of forming your own brigade
With intention to invade
A land without aggression ever displayed
You claim you would have parlayed
And our own peaceful intentions conveyed
I say you don’t do that with a warband and war-blade
Your atrocious mockery of rules, this masquerade
Mark you as a deep-dyed traitor, a rebel, a renegade.
