My Little Bro

Recalcitrant
Defiant
Pig-headed and stubborn
(aren’t they the same thing?)
Trampling through the delicate gardens
Of other peoples’ feelings
Never listening to warnings
He’s been told
Told in cursive, italic and bold
Told in asides, whispered and loud
He’s been slapped, pounded and bashed
With punishments I’d deem harsh
But does he listen?
Does he care?
Lost in his own world
Doesn’t want to hear
He remains plain unrepentant

There are people like that! Nothing will make them change, though it’s unfortunate, that he tramples others’ feelings. Well done, madame!
