CCC229: Desolate Tibbs

When Madelaine
Best friend of Tibbs
Transitioned to non-animate
When she ceased to breath
When she no longer moved
When the men came along
And carried her out
Tibbs hung about
Where would they take his dear friend Madelaine?

Seeing Tibbs sad and hungry
Tom next door offered fish on a dish
But Tom didn’t say
Where Madelaine might lay
Yet Madelaine’s soul called out to him
Told Tibbs where to find her
Where he should go
And there he remained
In the churchyard

Tom was kind to try to help his poor friend Tibbs. So difficult to lose one you care about 🙂
