🙂 🙂 🙂 Today I sit at my desk, windows open, no heating on, sun streaming through windows, flowers in bloom, birds sweetly singing. I’m making the most of it. English weather is renowned for sharp swings

Today, I turn on the lights at 11 am because it is so dark. I slept in for the first time in ages (having stayed up late with a girlfriend) till 10, thanks to the darkness and the sound of the rain against the window. It was divine. Mind you, I was awake from 5:45-6:30-ish… Still.
So glad you are enjoying your beautiful day.

Yesterday was my eldest’s birthday. It was a mix of things, though warmth wasn’t really one of them. I heard there was snow in Paris, as well.

We’re still having snow here. But it so seldom snows here! And today we have high winds & rain. So come on Weather God, get it out of your system, cos I’m out for a walk tomorrow (missed it last week due to me feeling crap & my daughter having a hospital thingy)

Your snow is not like our snow 😉 Today is rain, tomorrow is rain but on the bright side, the only snow left is where the ploughs push it to the side when clearing parking lots. The rest is gone!
Hope you do manage to get out and get your walk in. I still get out of breath so easily. I hope the weekend will be nice enough for me to stroll.
