Reflections on Moving

If it’s not one thing then it’s another
I swear I’m at the end of my tether
Moving house is the worst ordeal
A week with no cooker means no hot meal
No landline connection
Reminds me of days before internet service selection
And the weather… rain, rain, rain
Water clogging the drain
The one in the shower blocked and overflowing
Flooding the bathroom, no plumber showing
But here it’s another week round
And I stand amazed: I’m Amazon found!
