Nice form!! I had seen that on her blog too but haven’t had the time to try it yet. Perfect imagery..

I had intended a haiku. But … thought I’d try it.

Love it. I’ll be trying it soon myself.

It was an interesting challenge. I also think it better expressed my idea, than a haiku would have done.
I wish you well with yours. π

Well, myself, I’m bushed. First walk of the year, weather beautiful — and I captured a new fungu species. But now my feet know they’ce walked, and my cheeks are burning, and I can’t be bothered to cook. I think this evening I shall put my feet up. After I’ve attentded the photos. π

I just got back from a date/walk and am now contemplating what I shall write to go with your lovely picture (one that looks a lot like one of my own π )
You do that. Relax, put your feet up!

I did and I have (watched a movie). Was it a good date, positive outcomes? But alas, whatever you answer I shan’t read till morning. My eyes are closing. I must find my bed. π

Glad you relaxed.
Yes, it was a good date. A gentleman. They have become a rare thing π
Hope you slept well.

I would say ‘like a log’ but so many logs encountered along the byways bear barious fungi! And I’m happy for you twas a gentlemen you dated. Yes, a very rare specimen. Lucky you. π

Like a log is good – especially for a fungi-loving gal such as yourself…
We shall see where it goes. I’m in no rush whatsoever…π

Thanks. Honestly, I am in no rush for a serious monogamous relationship… only sometimes π

Is okay, I get that. And still I wish you the best, cos even a part-timer (always my favourite) has to found. π

This poetic form is amazing. And you hit the mark with the visual word imagery. We must celebrate the beautiful new blooming flower, as well as the flower whose bloom has ended. We are all part of that cycle, as much as many people try to deny it! πΈπ

Pleased you liked. And indeed, the circle of life is never ending, and we as much a part of the world’s circle as the heavy-headed sunflower. π

I thank you. It arrived in my head when I wasn;’t looking and insisted I used it in preference to what I’d already composed. π

Nicely done. Every word added something to the picture you created π

I think I’ve written a cinquain before, maybe, but this is the first time I come across this type. It looks very interesting indeed. π

I picked it up from someone’s blog (don’t remember who): Line 1: a noon, one word. Line 2: two adjectives to describe said noun. Lone 3: three verbs, imperfect tense, which can be applied to said noun. Line 4: a four word phrase that describes the noun. Line 5: another noun that can stans in its place. Yea, quite a taxing form to use. It was a challenge.

Well, it’s only flattery if it’s not true or an exaggeration, surely… π
