Suzie has a ‘liking’ for sexy soldiers
She won for herself a contract
To sew shirts for all the Militia’s men
Such sexy short-sleeved shirts, Sister Suzie sewed
Those sexy soldiers then wrote epistles
Said they’d rather sleep on thistles
Than wear those sexy short-sleeved shirts
That Mrs Bennett’s sister Suzie sewed
Note: If you’ve read Pride and Prejudice you’ll know that Mrs Bennett had a hankering for soldiers.

There was a sister. Not sure what her name. I think the Bennett girls frequented the sister, who lived in town, in order to eye-up the Militia men. But for the life of me, I don’t remember her name. Maybe she was only referred to as ‘Mrs’?

I’ve just googled it. The sister’s name is given as Mrs Phillips, never with her Christian name. And google remarks that she has a thing for military men!

Elizabeth, Mary, Jane, Kitty and Lydia were the Bennett sisters but there was an aunt who lived in town. Mrs Gardiner was the aunt the Jane and Elizabeth stayed with. Oh, the Google…how you help in times like this (going through the book would have taken too much time!)
