The wildlife on the river Wensum 🔼 I haven’t seen this goose before. Google tells me it’s a Chinese Goose. I’m open to correction if you know for certain 🔽⏬ Swans. Of course.

🔼 Looking up, the sky is blue. Pale blue, but blue is better than grey

🔼 Signage, I love signage. Not sure anyone in need of direction would be able to read this. The obscured arm says ‘Easton’ 🔽 I’ve looked and looked at this busy picture but still can’t name the main plants. Catkins, probably birch. Those leaves? The berries? Surely not grapes? Not in a hedge a fair distance away from habitation. Anyone care to give me a better guess?

Grapes done grow wild in UK. Garden escapee, though. That’s the only explanation. And thank you for your explosive response! 🥰🥰🥰

I don’t believe I have ever seen a Chinese Goose either- I went right for your narration to find out what it was.

That’s what Google said. But oddly and coincidentally, I recently watched Wild Robot, which feature some very weird geese. Which are exactly the same as this goose.

Yes, Chinese goose, although I did double check against the Ne-ne or Hawaiian goose. Probably escaped from a collection or from Pensthorpe, which is about ten miles upstream from there.
I’ll be going with pic No. 1 on Friday – in fact I’ve already written it 🙂
