A medley of autumnal photos from our walk on 13th September 2021. Enjoy
Rose hips and bramble flowers πΌπ½
This next one needs to labelling π½
πΌ A hop vine flowers right as the blackberries are looking invitingly ripe π½ Elderberries, already stripped by the birds
πΌ Not sure the name of this autumnal-coloured vine but I can tell you below π½ is field bindweed and hawthorn ‘haws’
π½ Chicory. Love that flower!
πΌ A reminder that we are very close to an airfield (small planes and helicopters, no jumbos!) π½ British snails, not that invasive European variety that destroy our precious garden plants
I’ve said elsewhere, the Hawthorn announces the spring and the autumn too πΌ Below π½ the very strange fruit of the spindle tree
Black bryony πΌπ½β¬
That’s all for now folks. Don’t forget to check out Friday Fliers
Hope you enjoyed

What a gorgeous fall assortment! Thank you.

My delight. Bright berries make up for the increasing lack of colourful flowers

Amazing photos always–I especially love the chicory…I had no idea it was a shade of blue.
