That girl of mine
Drove me crazy
First up in the clouds
Then down in the pits
Never gave me a definite answer
But now she has a diagnosis
Now she’s positive
And decisive
Now she’s got the meds

A song for Didz, love you babes

I do not know your friend, but I am happy for her she was able to stabilize. Nothing is harder to accept than when your body and/or mind betrays you.

She’s currently being assessed. We all wish her greater stability

Thank you, Andrea. It has taken some years to wake her up to the potential problem. Awaiting formal diagnosis now

There is nothing worse than not knowing why you are the way you are. Once you have a diagnosis, you can be taken care of. This poem could apply to a friend of mine. Nicely done.

It has taken a long time for her to wise up. But now she has, she has truly grasped the situation and is determined to get the treatment needed

That is a wonderful thing. It is difficult to get to that point.

Yea. I think the death of her husband has helped, which might sound odd but there are reasons

No, it does not. It is proven that, even if they loved their husband, widows are happier after.
