A miscellany of colourful pics from our walk on 16th January 2025. Enjoy
Purple ivy berries… and a purple tree. How odd is that?
Oak leaves and ivy leaves, bronze, silver and gold
Lichen encrusted elder tree, with leaf just budding (is that crimson or purple?). Below turkey tails and a fungus I don’t recognise
Alder cones and hazel catkins
Ivy being very bright, so too the alder catkins
Lichen: I can’t resist it
That’s all for now folks. Let’s see what this week brings us by way of weather and walks 🥰😎😀

What lovely photos Crispina. Love the moss encrusted branches

It seems like purple, or colors closely akin were the order of the day. Gorgeous!

I did wonder if it’s my camera processor. And then we come to photographs with absence of purple, so therefore not, 💜 😄 😊

Everything looked according to its nature, I just especially appreciated the hues of purple and the like in this presentation.

Maybe a case of Spring being ‘pretty in pink’ but winter being ‘imperial in purple’?

You’ve managed to capture a lot of colour in what can seem like a monochrome season!
