Milly Mouse
Poked her head out of her house
The wind was blowing mightily
A hard frost freezing frightfully
So back to bed she went
To drowse, delightedly
And I can testify to the strength of wind and depth of frost cos I was there 😁

I love this picture so much, Crispina. I won’t even try to find a matchy-matchy 😉
Love your poem, too.

Ironic, I was in two minds about including it. But that frost was so patchy, just in sunless pockets, anc the sun shining equally patching….. etc etc

Way too much so. It’s gorgeous. Framably gorgeous, I say.

That’s how I feel about it. Though it’s not always possible. And sometimes I venture out cos it’s good photography weather

It had been very cold when we set out, but once into the sun, it was bearable. 🫠😄

I had fun writing this one. Though I had intended to use the frilly fungi pic, hence Milly Mouse (she was looking for a hat). But the muse refused me that one and gave me this one instead.
