The flowers, butterflies and occasional bee seen on our walk 8th May 2024. Enjoy
Wild roses, not yet seen in abundance but it’s early yet
And those other spring blossoms…
Close up of the hay meadow… and churchyard
Mountain Ash (Rowan) complete with bee
Female Orange-Tip…the male flew away while I was still getting a focus
Holly Blues…
Hope you enjoyed. More next week

Oh I love these butterflies 🦋

Always a challenge. I think I’m going o specialise in snails; they don’t disappear off as soon as you’ve found the focus 😊😂

Various problems (flu followed by nasty pull of the right glutes maxim) have kept me from walking so much this month. I’ve really missed the wild roses, honeysuckle, butterflies. And now facing June with family commitments clobber me cos of birthdays. But I’ll try to keep the picture posts coming! 🙂

Oh dear. I feel your pain as my right glutes (actually, more specifically, the piriformis and ischias nerve have completely stopped me from running and walking since March 3. It’s been hell.
Bummer you missed those and June is your busy month for birthdays!
