A nightmare, it seems

Worked hard, lived frugal, encountered uncomprehending stares

I could afford it
Only to find all the windows and doors boarded
And a demolition order slapped on it

Truth, it’s not the house of my dreams. There is someone living there. It’s not due to be demolished. Poetic licence!

I am amazed, but also like, that this is an inhabited house. The photo is taken of the end gable, but full frontal isn’t any more encouraging
