Don’t Get Me Wrong

Don’t get me wrong
But really I don’t like Rom-Com
Too often the plot is contrived
And isn’t strong
With characters poorly constructed
Who don’t seem to belong
The dissonance
And disconnect
Strikes me painfully
Like an overloud gong
An altogether ill-written maelstrom.

But not every Rom-Com fits like this
A few are truly watch-worthy bliss!

Oh, I agree. Most of them seem just thrown together! I love the old ones where the dialogue is witty and fun. Great 56, Crispina!
