Our stroll along the prom on 7th July 2023 didn’t yield us many flowers. But here’s the ones I found…
Some kind of pea-family…
Yellow Horned Poppy, my first sighting, excited!!!
Sea Aster…
Sea Bindweed…
Fennel. I think it’s leapt from a nearby garden. It’s a survivor!
A medley… to show the dearth!
According to my app, this is a Chinese Wolfberry. So another that’s escaped someone’s garden…
Can I pass lichen without taking a photo? No. This was on a seat by the church…
And a wood pigeon to mark the end of the walk!
Hope you enjoyed. More next week.

I so appreciate when you supply the names of the plants you see. Am thrilled when I actually know them π No, it would be impossible to not take a picture of lichen! Love the wood duck on surveilance!

Thank you. I don’t always supply the names. I shall try to do so more often

I know you don’t always π I just appreciate when you do and am, in no way pushing you to do so!!

I love how plants jump from gardens into the wilds! In the guide books they’re called “garden escapees” and I always imagine them upping roots and sneaking out with loaded suitcase!

I try to vary them. But I do have my favourites and woodlands do tend to feature a lot
