CCC245: The Seaside Shanty Singer

A fisherman singing jack
Living in a seaside shack
Side-by-side with seals and squealing birds
That sing along to my shantified words
The shushing of the susurrating sea
Provides the background music for me
Tide-washed mermaid-purses filled with glee
Oh yes, a seaside shanty singer me
Come on, join in, sing along with me

  4. A couple of miles down the track
    I discovered a fisherman’s shack
He said “come right in here
    And lend me your ear,
while we both share a beer, out the back”.
