They’ve taken away my bells.
But who to point my finger at
Who to cast into ten depths of hell?
And tell me
How’s my beloved Esmeralda to seduce with her dancing
Without the bells I used to ring?

Thank you. The view wasn’t one you’d expected? 😀

Not it’s significance!

I loved this. It made me think of how beautiful it would be to hear them anyway, almost more beautiful than hearing them ring when they were still there.

I live within easy hearing distance of church bells (not this church) and I love the sounds. Thursday night is bell-ringing practice night and it goes on for hours! 😀

Me too, you are very lucky.

I even get a restricted view of the church…at least the tower. Looks fantastic in the sunset!

Indeed yes. This is another case of me liking the photo then having to find something to write for it. It is a challenge for me as much as anyone else. But Victor Hugo came to mind, and I was away! 😀

I love that. Some people look for a picture to go with their story. I think it’s more of a challenge to write one to match the picture. I love where you went

BTW, a separate bell tower was built next to this church. And I set the challenge to everyone, including myself.

I’ve just scheduled this coming week’s posts…including CCC226. And I’m thinking, what can I write for this? Oh boy. This one might have me jiggered.

You are very organized … And I’m not even worried that you will come up with something wonderful.

Thank you. Having scheduled the week’s posts (except for Sammi’s) I am now wondering what to offer up for CCC227. So I’ve seen the photo & I’m trying not to think of Wizard of Oz!

You schedulers amaze me. Only thing I ever schedule is Wordless Wednesday on Sorryless because it’s not my blog and there are those who get up early who do enjoy my photos…
So, I’m guessing a yellow brick road feel 😉

You have face-to-face friends. And a face-to-face job. I live online.
