September, and the spiders are busy spinning webs that catch the misty droplets. And fungi begin to appear… Enjoy
It was the tree, not me, who dropped that leaf!
That’s all for now, Folks. Hope you enjoyed these first signs of autumn (a welcome arrival in my tiny corner of the land where it’s been a long hot dry summer)
Gorgeous.

Thank you. It’s sometimes difficult at this early part of the changing season to find interesting subjects for the camera. Too late for flowers. Too early fungi. There are berries…loads & loads of berries

And spiderwebs, jeweled with morning dew.

I get them often now in my garden. But when there’s mist too…wow!

They are appearing in more numbers now. But after such a dry summer, I doubt we’ll have as good a show as usual. We shall see! 🙂

Thank you, Dale. I’m a little sad to see the flowers gone, and the trees not yet turning. But that’s the season 🙂

And the cycles go on and on 🙂 I’m not sad the heat is gone!

I’m pleased it is gone. But now we have rain . Cold rain. And being a Brit I’m allowed… even expected… to complain. So Weather God, please keep the rain to the night time

We had rain for three days in a row. I was so done with it. Now it’s bloody cold (feels like 9!)
but the sun is shining!

Yea, rain has brought our temps well down low. But I now have a green lawn…except for the dead patches

Same here. It is very green other than the slowly turning of the leaves. This morning, it was 6. We are expecting no higher than 14 today.

Oh, 6? Though overnight we’re well below 10. Days are around 15/18. Not much autumn colour yet…except the weigela outside my window is turning

Yeah, this morning anyway. Yesterday it was 13 which made it perfect for running 🙂 It’s funny how in some places, only one tree has completely turned and is so colourful and really pops against all the still-green ones.

Different species of trees turn at different times. Also, some species time their events according to temperature, or moisture, while others time it according to daylight hours

Presumably all those E II R plates will be changed for C III R in the next few years.

No, they’re left, as is the coinage. There’s a postbox near our library with GR on it
