26th July we walk out of Norwich along Marriott’s Way…until we cross the small River Tud. There beside the Tud is where the water pools and the fairies play. Step quietly now, we don’t want to disturb them
The Tud…
One of the several pools all hidden amongst the trees
And another. We stop here for lunch
Sometimes here we see a swan, sometimes a family of ducks. Today we see…wait for it
These…
So enchanted, the day passes unnoticed until we realise it’s time to catch a bus back to Norwich
More photos tomorrow…
Those water Lillies are enchanting

Thank you, Sadje. We see them in ornamental gardens. But this was out there in the natural environment. Makes a difference

Yes. I think it would have been better if that water hadn’t been stirred by a paddling dog! 😊

The timing was perfect. Other years I’ve been too early or too late. God of Photography loves me (I think that’s Neptune) 😄

Gorgeous! Pools and swamps were my havens as a child and still are.

This was one of my haunts as a child, although the trees now are so much grown. It used to be much more open

Why was it one of your haunts?

Because it was a beautiful place, and not many people wold go there. I could sit & dream 😊
