I suspect this Tortoiseshell butterfly is laying its eggs on this nettle. We saw several in repose on nettles

      Thank you. This heat is keeping me away from the green lanes. If I don’t get out this coming week I shall have to do something different. But be assured, I shall post photos of something

        This heat has been abominable. I don’t even use my pool as much because it means being outside! The weekend will be different. I start off outside and acclimatise, unlike when I spend the day in the A/C. And I’ve no doubt you will!
