I suspect this Tortoiseshell butterfly is laying its eggs on this nettle. We saw several in repose on nettles

This heat has been abominable. I don’t even use my pool as much because it means being outside! The weekend will be different. I start off outside and acclimatise, unlike when I spend the day in the A/C. And I’ve no doubt you will!
