Twenty minutes on the garden
Just a little bit of weeding
It was that one at the back
Just out of reach
I stretched
Couldn’t straighten
Return of the bad back

Oh no! I hope it’s not a serious injury. Hugs

Anti-inflammatories and time will heal it. Torn ligaments, strained muscles. Ouch! And I had intended to do so much

I’m sorry. I can understand your pain and frustration

I hope this is just fiction, if not rest, rest, rest

It’s not fiction. I wrote it shortly after the *accident*, before I realised how bad it was. It’ll heal, meantime it’s making sure I don’t *over-reach* myself!

Ouch, well hopefully it heals quickly

It’s healing, thank you. I’m just being extra careful now until it’s had time to strengthen 🙂

Having cleared out my front “garden” – weeds over a foot high, a rectangle of maybe 3 X 5, give or take… I feel you pain. And hope yours is not serious!

I’ll heal. It’s not the first time it’s happened. Meanwhile…trying to find something to keep myself occupied

Still. Not pleasant, I know.

It’s almost healed. Though I’ve a feeling it’s waiting for me to do it again 🙂

Now you must heed any little signs…

I know, I know, I know. I’m resting it over the next few (hot) days. Then I’m getting back to usual

Back’s better. But my neck’s a pain in the…neck
LikeLiked by 1 person
That’s good. But that’s no fun. Seems the neck takes forever to get better. I always have issues with mine. Course, I do have a hernia…

Oy, I hope this is just a metaphor … for I sadly know the reality of those …

No, it’s real. And it hurts. And anti-inflammatories just send me to sleep! So I am mostly sleeping

Oy, I worried it was so … 😦 As someone who knows the ouchies of backs all too well, I feel for you. Literally. Feel better soon!

Thank you, Na’ama. It is much better. But I’m wisely being careful for a while

Yep, you only get one spine (and supporting structures …) so I’m all for taking it gently and being careful a while!

Fortunately I’m not suppose to go out in the heat, and we now how a heat wave, official. So I’m hiding away in the shade!

Shade along! 🙂 Keep well! Heat can be a doozy.

I’ve been hiding indoors. Fantastic chill breeze today!

Yay for chill breeze! My sister was just in London this week for a conference … Not the best time for visiting … but, she survived. 😉

It was hot. I feel for her. Folks are saying we Brits are wimps, that this is nothing compared to other countries. But we’re not used to it, we have no systems in place (read that as AC)

Britas are NOT wimps. It was HOT, and your area is not equipped for that heat. It is as if someone would say that I’m a wimp if I freeze in an unheated cabin in an Arctic blast, just because people who have winterized, weatherized homes and are used to that cold, won’t.
That heat wave was NOT normal, and it is easy enough for us in NYC, from our AC, to say that it is no big deal. We had a stretch of over 90f (in the mid 30s with a ‘feel like’ close to 40) last week, but MOST places are air-conditioned here, because MOST summers are that hot. So … Yea. You’re not wimps. You had to endure the swelter, and most did, but you are welcome to complain!

Why I do not garden. I hope all is well and pain free. 🙂

I wish it were. Stubborn as ever, I insisted on finishing that patch of weeding. Which wasn’t a good idea. It’ll heal.
