CCC152: A Love-Lost Lass

Some distraught lass who’ll love no more
Her sailor-man has gone to sea
His ship is lost
She’s left to grieve
Now sadness bids me also leave
For that love-lost lass you know as me

Beautiful but so, so sad. But tragic love makes for the best stories and poems, doesn’t it?
