Scarlet Pimpernel (even more rare than field pansy): 7 July 2021
Pink Yarrow: 7 July 2021
Tortoiseshell butterfly on a thistle: 7 July 2021
Musk Mallow: 7 July 2021
The candy stripes of Field Bindweed: 7 July 2021

It was difficult to make the selection this week, so many flowers now in bloom. Hope you’ve enjoyed the ones I’ve chosen. More next week.

    So that’s what a scarlet pimpernel looks like. Funny, I’ve loved the story, but never thought to actually get a look at the flower.
