Spring is in the Air in January??? We just finally went into a cold snap.
Lovely photo, by the way. Love the colours. And the bokeh in the background with all the twisty branches adds for a wonderful backdrop!

Unless direct in the face of a north or east wind, most places around here are sheltered. East Anglia generally doesn’t have the depth of cold elsewhere in UK. God’s Country.

Are you mocking us? Spring in the air… pffft… It’s ZERO now!

It’s been below zero today. But not in that little sheltered nook where these were growing

Oh how fabulous! Here we’ve had high temp of 62f yesterday, winds today about 45 mph and by Saturday, highs about 9f — so no real signs of Spring yet, unless you consider the wild fluctuations in temps a sign of Spring? 😉

We’re mostly sheltered. Mostly.

That’s the draw back to the vastness of South Dakota, no wind breaks 🙂

Our coast is wind-battered, but there are always sheltered areas
