Breydon Water sits on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk. And as of today, these two counties are in Lockdown. Again. Not alone, but with the rest of East Anglia. So this is likely to become my photographic home for the next few weeks. But it’s a beautiful place, and although only 1/2 hour walk, it feels far from habitation.
Far From It, another title achieved in Maria’s Antonia’s #2020picoftheweek
[No filters, no tweaking. This is how the photo came off the camera. Merely resized.]
Beautiful scenery!

It was. I didn’t want to turn round and come home. But it got very dark, and misty and it t was muddy underfoot. So good sense directed my feet. But I still have the photos

That picture is so calming and serene…
We are locked down as well. Fines of $1,600 per person who is not where they should be.
But yesterday’s rain and dreariness have been replaced by pretty swirling snow. I shall attempt to go walk in it just to get the fresh air as there is not really anything to see!

That’s all that’s open to us… to walk (unless you have a car).
So I was on the beach this morning. I am becoming a “beach photographer”!

Yea, that’s what I was thinking while I was out this morning. Oh, ghost waves and footprints of birds… Frank’s domain

I just came back from my walk… with a twisted right knee, twisted left ankle and twisted back… It was a treacherous walk with the ice hidden under the morning’s snowfall.
Frank’s domain indeed… 😉

They’re young. They don’t feel the cold. Something happens to the body’s thermostat when you hit 40.

I’ve no reason to wander far at this time of year. Quite happy with the lcokdown restrictions. Until spring tempts me further afield. But you too.

Beautiful colour! And I love how the lone duck fits your musings perfectly. What a way to end the year… See you next year!

Serenditity, once again.
I’d gone out. not really expecting a sunset, just because I love the later afternoon light on the water. And there wasn’t a noticeable sunset. Just blue… everything blue
