Up early to walk the 9 miles along Breydon Water from Great Yarmouth to Burgh Castle and back. I wasn’t expecting a notable sunrise and was surprised when I looked back and saw it happening. Meanwhile, in front of me was this…
Quality of Light, another title achieved in Maria’s Antonia’s #2020picoftheweek
Looks so peaceful. My kind of place.

Yea, it was beautiful. Actually, it;s always beautiful there, even when the wind is howling and blowing you backwards

Had to change from my usual landscape format. But it had to be done

I didn’t even notice that! But looking at it again, I see that it’s more a square (not quite). Love it!

Yea. We’re having a mini-heatwave. Well, warmer than usual for September.

Ugh. Yesterday was a perfect 20°C, no wind.
Today? Freezing my butt off at 16 because there is a wind with cold attached.

We are currenlty at 25 C in GY… which tends to be a cold place cos of the sea breezes. This time of year we expect 15 at most. 15 is nice.

Wow!
15 is perfection

It was 22 C when I went out this evening to snap up a sunset. No jacket required. Not even chilly by the time I came home.

Lucky you!
I was sent home from work at 2:30 – rained out.

Rain? What’s that?
I walked from Acle to Wickhampton yesterday, through a wetland wood and the grazing marshes. My shoes should at least have been muddy if not soaked and slimy. Nope. Everywhere, bone dry. Seriously dry.

Yesterday was perfection. Today? Not so much.

This morning;s forecast: No rain until later this week, and even then it’s only a slight possibility.

I’m out for a walk on Thursday. Don’t know if I’ll get out before then. Maybe early evening struts across to Breydon, and try not to take any more photos!

Haha! Can you resist?

No. Depends. Flowers fading, fungi not yet in… not very much. Breydon Water, photoed into extinction. There are always clouds. Except at the momeny we have another clear sky. Humph. I might manage the walk without a click. Then again… there are reeds

Yea, it was fantastic. Yet everyone’s camera is focused on the sun. Humph.

Sunrise is beautiful and it looks different every day.

Alas, I can’t do the photos every day. Easier for me to catch the sunset. Yes, I live between the sea to the east and a wide estuary to the west, so I can catch both just by walking a mile.
