Breydon Water at the top of the tide and not a breath of air. I’ve never seen it so quiet, not even in winter

And it’s beautiful! The blue and the calm. I ma willing to bet the scenery is even more charming to see in person!

It was the stillest I have ever seen that water, and the sky was the bluest. Though later in the day it turned a bit misty.

Too relaxing. This was partway through a 7 mile walk. Oh, I could have stayed and idled a while.

It is, isn’t it. Think I might go there again. Ah, well, I’ve nowhere else for my walks at the moment, so I guess I shall go again!

Could easily be a beautiful Haiku or Tanka Poem.
Your photo is filled with emotion. Thank you for sharing it.

Not in the spam. I’d answered it, but it hadn’t sent. I was having glitches with connectivity, just blinking out for seconds at a time.
And I thank you for the compliment. I just can’t help waxing lyrical ๐

Wow! It’s blue all over… Love this little bit of red that the post brings. Nice shot ๐

I came home with 200 photos, at least half were of the water. It was a difficult choice which one to go with. I had never seen the water so flat, the perfect for the deep blue sky. And the red… serendipity

Amazing you can have so much happening in a picture almost entirely one color. I know you said it was a quiet day, but there’s a lot of stillness to be seen.

Almost monochrome. I took loads of photos that day, any number of them would have conformed to Blue Sky. But I liked that this one had that red negation post. The counterpoint of interest
