Sand and Sea

Moving sand on Gorleston beach: 21 Feb 2020

Winter storms make alien sculptures of the beach; every year before the season begins the earth-moving plant is out to flatten it again.

Meanwhile, the tide drives the sea to collide with a side-arm of the pier.

Movement, another title achieved in Maria’s Antonia’s #2020picoftheweek

    • I thank you. I love watching the sea batter against Man’s defences. And this spot has long been a favourite. The currents here are forced to collide crosswise. And it just happened this day the earthmovers were out.
