Welcome to my weekly challenge—open to all—just for FUN, FUN, FUN
Here’s how it works:
Every Wednesday I post a photo (this week it’s that one above.)
You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:
- An answering photo
- A cartoon
- A joke
- A caption
- An anecdote
- A short story (flash fiction)
- A poem
- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it
If you include Crimson’s Creative Challenge as a heading, WP Search will find it (theory)
by ‘Searching’ in the WP Reader (fingers crossed)
Here’s wishing you inspirational explosions. And FUN.
I came upon these crowns of candles in St Mary’s Church, Mutford (Suffolk, England). They seemed slightly apt for the day. MERRY CHRISTMAS, FOLKS
In answer to my question… Candle of crowns… Hmmmmm….

Deacon Aaron kept the Catherine wheels at hand, just in case the Inquisition started up agin.

That’s nasty. But apt, and funny, so I’ll allow it. Thank you, Brian. Though I think there’s probably an entire generation out there who don’t understand the reference. 🙂 Have a good day, Brian, you and EJ and any friends and family. 🙂

Well, I had considered roulette wheels, but Bingo is the church game of choice around here. You, you father, and your daughters all have a great day, wherever they all are.

Thanks, Brian. Sorry I’m so late in responding. I had to sober up first! Have a good one, Brian. 🙂

What lovely photo! So many stories there, I’m sure (I’ll go reading others’ now – I wait until I write mine …). Speaking of … Here’s mine:
