And so often overlooked. I confess, I had never noticed the catkins on the weeping willow until I focused on this one.

That just makes me think about the number of things I personally may have overlooked whilst walking around outside. It is not easy to comprehend the beauty nature holds, the kind of beauty that holds the power to make us blind with both our eyes wide open, the little things that is. Loved these shots.

I’ve always had a keen eyes for the beauty around me. But carrying a decent camera makes my hyper sensitive. Hey, you don’t carry that weight and not use it. 🙂

There’s several willows that bear the same grey fluffy things, so not easy to name which this one is. It was young, or at least if hadn’t grown tall

Like Violet, I had never seen any pussy willows save the soft grey ones. These are very lovely!

They follow the grey ones, about a week or so later. But by then the leaves are coming on, so I guess you don’t notice. But they’re there. 🙂
