Marianne gathered the needles
(And that was the easy part)
She gathered the cones
And took them home
Not much time to work her charms
Halloween would soon be upon them
The cones became bodies
The needles changed to legs and arms
Arrived the day and there stood at her door
A crowd of perfect Pindles
A dozen or more
What are Pindles? You’ll soon know if they knock on your door š¤Ŗ
Wonderfully done š

Great imagery- a delightful, spooky, and whimsical piece. It has a wonderful folk-tale rhythm that feels reminiscent of classic children’s cautionary tale šš
