Because I haven’t had a chance to walk my camera until late this week, I’ve been taking shots of the butterflies that visit my garden. Although not of great variety, they do appear in amazing numbers. Enjoy

Wow. I am seriously jealous that so many varieties show up in your garden! I’m lucky if I see a little blue or a yellow or white.

Earlier in the year I had a rash of Holly Blues. Don’t know where they’ve gone to. And I am getting the occasional Tortoiseshell. And dragons. But which ones get their pic taken all depends on what’s happening when I’m standing there aiming the lens!

Last time this happened we’d been plagued by greenfly the summer before. I don’t remember that many greenfly last year. So maybe it’s just the heat
