Crimson’s Creative Challenge #015

Every Wednesday I’ll post FOUR photos (if you want to get a head start you’ll find them marked in that week’s Sunday Picture Post and Tuesday Treats). Lots of choice!

And here there are:

You respond with something CREATIVE. Perhaps an  answering photo, or micro-fiction, or a poem, or just a caption

As before, there are only two criteria:

!!!!! Your creative offering is indeed yours !!!!!

!!!!! Your writing is kept to 150 words or less !!!!!

If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it.

Here’s wishing you inspirational explosions. And FUN

  1. Brian Bixby's avatar Brian Bixby says:

The locals don’t talk much about it, but there’s a ghost who frequents Great Yarmouth’s harbor. Female, dressed in black with a veil, seen only around sunrise or sunset if there are ships in the harbor, almost always vanishes if you approach too closely.

Lettie Ashby, who was as fey as they come, managed to speak to her, face to face. She advised the rest of us to leave the ghost alone, that there was nothing useful we could do for her. Tom O’Malley, already the town drink, found himself underfoot one morning when she appeared. He saw under her veil, but would never tell what he saw, and drank himself into an early grave.

Still, it’s said he sometimes appears with her, his arm around her shoulders. On his face is a look of horror.
