Despite 28th November 2024 begins with a veiling mist, sun is promised for later. And sunshine we do get. Please join us as we hop off the bus at Acle with intent to walk cross-country to Burlingham woods. Hopefully we won’t encounter too many deep puddles!
The sunrise greets us as we hop off that bus!
To left and right of us, to north and south, the sun’s golden rays are cutting through the mist
Oaks standing tall and strong
Above: I knew this building when it also stood tall. Below: I have often sat here but not this morning, too cold!
My camera always appreciate it when I briefly glance back…
Traditional farming here. Above: those heaps between the trees are manure, ready for spreading to enrich the soil. Below: chickens keep the pigs company in their outside pens
Above: The sun streams through trees that now are losing their leaves. Below: The heat of the sun thaws overnight frost until it steams
Naked beech trunks shine blindingly bright in the late November sun.
That’s all for now. Hope you enjoyed. More photos from the sunny walk in Tuesday Treats (17th Dec)

The light! Each photo is beautiful how it shows the light.

It was a good day for the light. Love it when that happens.
