Every Wednesday I’ll post FOUR photos (if you want to get a head start you’ll find them marked in that week’s Sunday Picture Post, Tuesday Treats, and Friday Fungi, too). Lots of choice!
And here there are:
You respond with something CREATIVE. Perhaps anΒ answering photo, or micro-fiction, or a poem, or just a caption
As before, there are only two criteria:
!!!!! Your creative offering is indeed yours !!!!!
!!!!! Your writing is kept to 150 words or less !!!!!
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it.
Here’s wishing you inspirational explosions. And FUN

Nice pictures but this one inspired my take at https://bobfairfield.org/2024/12/11/crimsons-creative-challenge-012-forgotten-footprints/

The castle? The natives say it is the castle of a goddess whose name means “Forest Mother.” She is said to be fair, voluptuous, even. But no man may enter her castle uninvited. And it is even dangerous to accept her invitation.
I knew a knight, one of the proud order who rules this land, who laughed at the stories and said he’d make a woman of the maiden, if maiden she were.
He returned without his horse, his armor, or his tongue, dressed in peasant rags. He tended chickens and drank himself into a stupor every day. And when he died, the natives hid his body in the woods for the Forest Mother to reclaim.
And all I could wonder was, “Was he invited in or not?”
