Every Wednesday I post a photo (this week it’s that one above.)
You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:
- An answering photo
- A cartoon
- A joke
- A caption
- An anecdote
- A short story (flash fiction)
- A poem
- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it.
Here’s wishing you inspirational explosions. And FUN

What happens when the joy leaves? The circus packs up and leaves another place, the laughter, the awe, the wonder.
All of it fits into bags and trunks loaded up and taken away to be opened for a little while somewhere else.
The wonder and joy remains in the eyes of the audience. But what little wonder is left for those who know the secrets of the things packed so often into the bags and trunks that bring others such joy?

I’d like to answer this but unsure how, except to say that a performer’s joy is the joy reflected back during that performance. And for that, new audiences are always required
