It’s been such a wet year that I’ve accumulated a bumper crop of water-themed pics.
However, I love this one best. For despite it’s a huge puddle, which I had to negotiate on my walk, at least it shows that on that particular day the sky was blue.
Therefore I claim this photo for Water, my sixth title of #2024picofthemonth, as set at Of Maria Antonia

A beautiful shot.

They do produce beautiful pics

They do. I might complain when those puddles dampen a walk, but I love to find the beauty in them

The sky reflected in it is so beautiful

Thank you, Dale. So many water photos already this year. But this one nails it 🙂

It sure does!

We had to edge our way around it. Nettles, brambles, etc, preferrable to wet feet early on a walk

I bet. Makes for slow movement forward. And way better than wet feet!

So few walks this year when we’ve returned home NOT caked in mud

And now, disasters. On my way out for walk on Thursday, stepped of a pavement and twisted my knee and couldn’t walk. Knee wouldn’t hold me. Intense pain. Had to phone daughter to come help me get home. But rest, ice, compression, I’m hobbling around now. I should have walked to shops this morning but that’s not happened. Must go tomorrow cos I’ll have no food left. See how I get on; I doubt I’ll be able to get out for walk this coming week. Which means 2 SPPs/TTs with no current photos. Oh well, draw upon last year’s holiday!

Oh, damn! That’s not fun at all. Hope it heals quickly! Thank goodness your daughter was able to come and help you. Geez. Going to have to rethink solo walks…

It has knocked my confidence, that’s for sure. But it’s healed enough that I managed a 3 mile walk this past week. By then it was getting painful, but there was a bus route very close!

That smarts big time. 3-miles! Give yourself a pat on the back. You will slowly heal and work your way up to more time.

I did 4 miles along a seafront on Thursday. I was hurting by the time we caught the bus home, but I did it! Yay!

Awww 😦 But yay that you did it! Hope it hurts less and less and you do the necessary when you return from these jaunts.

It’s been wet here too. Our summer was far colder and wetter than usual.

Yes, June just felt like a “Water” month!

It’s been like that here since the New Year. There’s been massive and persistent flooding around the Broads where the rivers have been unable to cope with the run-off from the rain
