Something the things seen on our walk along Kessingland shore 24th January 2024. Enjoy.
Aye, even on the dunes we can’t escape fungi!
And lichen…
And lichenised fungi (Cladonia)
Thickets of sea buckthorn here, the berries now sun-dried and sea-air salted!
Reeds, sedges and other “fancy” grasses…
Not to mention those other things generally found on a beach…
Immature gulls braving the waves…
I think this one is a young herring gull…
And an adult joins in!
That’s all for now folks. There would have been more but the wind-driven tide wouldn’t allow us to pass
Hope you enjoyed. Now, where are we off to next week?

Love these shots.

What a wonderful post! Land and see, fungi, lichen and shells and birds in the wind by the shore.

Always difficult to select when the day has provided so much. Glad you enjoyed. Although the walk was cut short, it was a good day! 🙂

Doesn’t have to be long to be “profitable”!

Just generally, the longer the walk, the more variety of shots

That goes without saying.
