You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less

Thank you, Dale. Sometimes Life throws these shots at you and you just have to take them. But this one I only saw because the non-retreating tide had forced us to walk back to find another way off the beach! Serendipity, I’d say.

I’ve been walking every day in town (at my lunchtime), discovering parts of Montreal. This morning’s run was cancelled for snow and slush and unpleasantness (and yesterday’s coz it was just too damn cold). Hopefully when I get back from picking up my mother – she’s at her sisters’a a good 50-minute drive away – I’ll be able to. But I’m going to a friend’s for aperitivo at 4:00 pm, so I’ll walk through the park, if nothing else!
